Spiral Shaped Cookies

When you serve them, your friends will surprise both their forms and tastes. 
you should make soft dough like earlobe, maybe you may have in diffuculty for shaping like helix.




But its crispy taste will make you forget each difficulties and will be your favourite recipe.


All the ingredients should be at the room temperature for its tasty and dough rising.


Adding starch to the dough makes cookies crispy, and putting fruit of jam on top of cookies after baked makes you feel in visiul feast. 


And its recipeeee....

 
Ingredients:  
250 gr butter
1/2 cup olive oil
1 cup granulated sugar
1 egg
3 tablespoonful starch
5 - 5,5 cups flour
2 tablespoons cocoa
1 pack baking powder
jam, marmalade

Instructions
1- Combine butter, oil, sugar, egg in a big bowl, then add  flour, baking powder and starch. Knead well and make dough in the form of earlobe.
2- Set aside the fist-size dough for making helix shape.
3- Pick walnut sized pieces from dough and roll them.
4- Let's roll the dough thinly by adding cocoa to the dough that we set aside. (if it is necessary you can add 1 tablespoon water for a good dough)
Place these cocoa rolls gently onto each cookie dough in a spiral shape and gently roll each one with your hands.  
Score gently on the cookie dough.
4- Place each piece of rolled dough on the graced tin  leaving enough space between each as they will rise when cooked.
5- Bake them in preheated oven at 165 C  for 20-30 minutes until they start to turn light yellow. 
6- After baking, let them cool.
7- Before serving put a drop of jam on top of each cookies.
