Stick Crackers



Why are you losing time to make your own crispy, crunchy, seed-topped delicious stick crackers?



It's a good idea to have homemade crackers for snacks, lunch, even dinner with a cup of coffee, tea or a glass of lemonade, fizzy drinks. 



You keep them in a tin or a pot, so they will be as fresh as ever.



Stick Crackers

Ingredients:
125 gr. butter
1/4 cup olive oil
3 tablespoons water
2 tablespoons vinegar
1 egg 
1 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon granulated sugar
3 cups all purpose flour 

For topping: 
1 egg
sessame seeds

Instructions:
1- In a big bowl, mix all the ingredients for the dough except flour.
Then add in flour. Make soften dough as thick as an earlobe.

2- Dump out the dough onto slightly floured counter. 
 Roll the dough thin into rectangular shape with rolling pin.
Once it is rolled, place it on a tray.

3- Whisk 1 egg with a fork help, then brush the top of the dough and sprinkle sessame seeds on it.
Cut it in stick crackers shape and put the tray in the fridge for cooling for almost half an hour.



3-After half an hour take the tray out from the fridge and place the crackers on the baking sheet and bake them in preheated oven until golden brown.
Straight out of the oven,  they will crisp up as they come to room temperature.




4- Let crackers cool completely on baking sheet, then transfer to a platter. 
Serve with hot or cold drink.
